Flu vaccination predicted for almost 60% of the Russians soon!

According to Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, the government has been tasked with safeguarding funding for flu and coronavirus vaccination following vaccines are registered. Almost 60 % of the Russian population should be vaccinated against flu, mentioned the President. 


Coming to the details, the Russian Government should ensure full funding of events intended at the prevention of acute respiratory infections in the 2020-2021 fall-winter epidemic season. This will enable predicting flu vaccination of almost 60% of the Russians, almost 75% of people at-risk groups, and also vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 following the state registration of the appropriate vaccines. 


On August 12th, Russia will register the world’s first vaccine against COVID-19, as publicized previously by the Russian Deputy Health Minister Oleg Gridnev.
