Among patients with chronic gastric inflammation, there was a connection between endoscopically diagnosed dyspeptic subjects and the prevalence of H. pylori infection.

A study revealed a significant link between H. pylori infection occurrence and endoscopically diagnosed dyspepsia. Furthermore, the isolates of H. pylori exhibited sensitivity to Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Clarithromycin, and Levofloxacin. Fatima Omer Saber et al. aimed to examine the isolation, identification, and determination of antibiotic susceptibility of H. pylori from biopsies of patients utilizing a variety of techniques.

A diagnostic 'upper' gastrointestinal endoscopy was performed on 90 patients (58 men, 32 women) with dyspeptic symptoms across age groups and from both genders. H. pylori was isolated in 30 instances. In biopsies, the cultures and antibiotic sensitivity assays were reported to be more accurate when compared to urease tests for 1H. pylori identification. H. pylori isolates tested for antibiotic resistance showed Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Clarithromycin, and Levofloxacin susceptibility. All of the examined isolates showed signs of Tetracycline and Metronidazole resistance.
